Shamir airs infectious new video for ‘On the Regular’

“This is me on the regular, so you know,” bursts Shamir Bailey, a new Las Vegas talent that quips like his multi-faceted, bonkers strand of pop is just everyday fodder.

But this is the opposite of everyday. Newly signed to XL Recordings, his latest video for ‘On The Regular’ is a ridiculously colourful assault of giddy ideas and E number-encrusted pop. Getting by with the most infectious bassline since Azealia Banks’ ‘212’, this is shamelessly bright-eyed, a “Fisher Price”-citing blast of energy.

Shamir’s debut London show takes place at the Courtyard Theatre, 4th December. Catch him live at Berlin’s Kantine am Berghain (2nd December), Amsterdam OT301 (3rd) and Rennes’ Transmusicales (7th).

Debut EP ‘Northtown’ - out earlier this year - is getting a repress via GODMODE on 3rd November.
