Shamir shares lo-fi, personal new track ‘Straight Boy’
The track is taken from the singer’s forthcoming LP ‘Revelations’

Shamir has shared stripped-back new track ‘Straight Boy’.
Accompanied by a purposefully stark video of the singer playing guitar against a plain backdrop alongside a white man dressed identically, the track tackles “toxic straight boy masculinity and white washing”.
It’s taken from the Vegas-born singer’s forthcoming third album ‘Revelations’ - released via Father/ Daughter records next month. This follows Shamir’s self-released early 2017 LP ‘Hope’, which marked a notable shift in direction from his electronic debut back in 2015.
