She & Him Announce A New Album And Tour

M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel, the duo behind the twee indie band She & Him, have revealed plans for their third album set to be released later this year.

‘Volume 3’ - which follow their previous two albums ‘Volume 1’ and ‘Volume 2’ - will include 11 original tracks as well as three covers, including their own version of Blondie’s ‘Sunday Girl’. The new album will also feature contributions from the likes of Tilly and The Wall and Rilo Kiley’s Pierre De Reeder, and is set for release in the UK on May 13 via Double Six.

She & Him have also announced a North American tour to promote the release of ‘Volume 3’, which kicks off on June 13 and includes support from Camera Obscura and Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell.
