Show Me The Body share ‘Vernon’ video, featuring Ratking’s Wiki
NYC group shared the track with a statement: “Fuck in the city. Die in a cell.”
New York’s Show Me The Body have shared a video for ‘Vernon’, their collaboration with Ratking rapper Wiki.
The track is taken from the ’S M T B’ EP from earlier this year, released via BitTorrent and Letter Racer Records. It was launched alongside zines containing poetry, lyrics, artwork - you name it.
‘Vernon’’s video was sent to DIY with an animated gif, showing a prison inmate being punched by cops. It comes with the caption: “Fuck in the city. Die in a cell.” The video itself is a series of shots that travel through New York, briefly interrupted by clips of strangers being attacked with a hammer. Watch below.
