Sia completes Maddie Ziegler-starring trilogy with ‘Big Girls Cry’

Maddie Ziegler shot to instant fame with her starring role in Sia’s unforgettable 2014 video, for ‘Chandelier’. Since then, she’s become the de-facto face of the Australian songwriter, who’s removed herself from everything bar the actual studio process.

Ziegler is again centre stage for a new clip, ‘Big Girls Cry’. It completes a trilogy of visual collaborations, the second being a shared performance between the dance star and actor Shia LaBeouf.

This time, it’s all about Ziegler. No distractions, the camera’s focused entirely on her face, which twists and contorts with every epic synth punch. It’s potentially the dancer’s best performance yet.
