Silver Apples To Play Previously Unperformed Material Live At ATP
The band will play two songs previously unperformed songs from second album ‘Contact’.
Silver Apples’ Simeon Coxe III has revealed the band will be playing two songs they haven’t performed live before during their ATP Nightmare Before Christmas set.
The tracks - ‘You’re Not Fooling Me’ and ‘Fantasies’ - are taken from their second album ‘Contact’, which was released in 1969 via Kapp.
Speaking to DIY in an interview carried out earlier this week, Simeon said: ‘I’ve never done them live before, we didn’t even do them live back in the day with Danny. I’m gonna do them live for the first time at ATP.’
This year’s ATP Nightmare Before Christmas is curated by Battles, Les Savy Fav and Caribou, with Silver Apples playing on Caribou’s day (11th December).
The event will take place from 9th - 11th December at Butlins, Minehead. Read the full interview here.
