Sivu covers Frank Sinatra’s ‘Strangers In The Night’

James Page aka Sivu is warming up to releasing his debut album later this year, but before that, he’s putting out the ‘Miracle (Human Error)’ EP. Out now, the release features his latest single, plus a newly unveiled cover of a Frank Sinatra cover ‘Strangers In The Night’.

This cover happens to be the first thing Alt-J producer Charlie Andrew heard when he started collaborating with Sivu. It’s an unlikely match given the curious, slightly-leftfield pop James specialises in, and it’s probably more appropriate for romantic winter evenings that balmy summer afternoons, but there you go.

Sivu is set to play Reading and Leeds, Bestival and London Oslo during a UK tour. Catch him on the DIY Argyll Stage at this year’s Beacons Festival. Dates above the player:
