Control freaks
Slaves are back! Album two ‘Take Control’ is out this September
The new record was produced by Beastie Boys’ Mike D, too.

The terrible twosome return. Slaves have announced ‘Take Control’, their second album.
The follow-up to their ‘Are You Satisfied?’ debut, LP2 saw the Kent riffers ship off to Los Angeles, bunking in with Beastie Boys man Mike D for the production of the record. According to Laurie Vincent, Mike D “became like another member of our band – we can safely call him our friend, which is just surreal!”
Led by new single ‘Spit It Out’ - which was released yesterday - the tracklisting for ‘Take Control’ is as boisterous and bratty as you’d expect:
1. Spit It Out
2. Hypnotized
3. Consume Or Be Consumed (feat. Mike D)
4. Take Control
5. Mr Industry (Skit)
6. Rich Man
7. Play Dead
8. Lies
9. Fuck The Hi-Hat
10. Gary (Skit)
11. People That You Meet
12. Steer Clear (feat. Baxter Dury)
13. Cold Hard Floor
14. STD’s PhD’s
15. Angelica
16. Same Again
