Slaves share surprise new track, ‘Spit It Out’
Track lands ahead of a main stage slot at Reading & Leeds.

Slaves have unveiled a surprise new track, ‘Spit It Out’.
Released the day after a surprise gig at London’s 100 Club, it’s their first new material since the release of last year’s ‘Are You Satisfied?’ debut. No word on whether it features on a second LP, but last month Laurie Vincent confirmed a new full-length is finished and coming out “soon”.
He told NME, “It’s [got] some very old Slaves, some last album Slaves, some new stuff. It’s a bit of everything… It’s more developed that the first album, there’s more of a landscape. It’s heavy, lyrically and how it sounds. Some of it is like how ‘Sugar Coated’ on the first album is really punky, although some is the total opposite.”
‘Spit It Out’ arrives ahead of the Tunbridge Wells duo’s main stage slot at Reading & Leeds. Stream below.\
