Sleater-Kinney unveil ‘No Cities to Love’ video, starring Gerard Way, Fred Armisen, Ellen Page
Star-studded clip sees familiar faces taking on the track.
Everyone with any semblance of sense will be anticipating Sleater-Kinney’s ‘No Cities To Love’ record (it just picked up 5/5 on DIY) and that’s been proven with a star-studded new video for the record’s title-track.
The new clip strips back the song, allowing other musicians and celebs to get involved on the action.
In no particular order, Gerard Way, J Mascis, Sarah Silverman, Andy Samberg, Ellen Page, Connie Britton, Miranda July, Natasha Lyonne and Vanessa Bayer make an appearance.
Carrie Brownstein makes an eventual cameo too. Special shout out goes to Fred Armisen, who plays the song on keyboard in a New York subway.
‘No Cities to Love’ is out 19th January in the UK via Sub Pop, 20th January in the U.S.
