Sleigh Bells bring their riot rhythms to London's Village Underground

In Europe for a series of festival appearances - and in Manchester tonight as part of a DIY Presents gig - Sleigh Bells took to east London venue Village Underground last night (2nd July). “It’s good to be back,” vocalist Alexis Krauss told the packed, sweaty and enthusiastic crowd. “We’ve missed you”.

Alexis, guitarist Derek Miller, plus touring guitarist and drummer played an ear-splitting set, opening with ‘Bitter Rivals’ cut ‘Minnie’, and including both old and new - ‘You Don’t Get Me Twice’, ‘Sing Like A Wire’ and ‘Young Legends’ from that most recent record, plus old favourites ‘Infinity Guitars’, ‘Riot Rhythm’ and encore closer ‘A/B Machines’ from their debut.
