Slipknot & Korn cover Beastie Boys’ ‘Sabotage’ during London show
During the support band’s set at The SSE Arena, they were joined by some special guests.
Last week, Slipknot and Korn rolled into London for the latest show of their Prepare For Hell tour and, since they were in the rather special confines of The SSE Arena, Wembley, they decided to give the crowd a bit of a treat.
Towards the end of Korn’s set on Friday (23rd January) - the band were scheduled in as main support to the Iowa headliners - frontman Jonathan Davis invited a handful of members of Slipknot onto the stage for a special cover of Beastie Boy’s ‘Sabotage’.
Marking the first time they’ve changed their set during the tour - as noted by Rolling Stone - the performance followed on from a rather sizeable hint that appeared on Korn’s instagram on Friday, asking “Could it be @korn_official and @slipknotmaybe doing a cover tonight in London at the Wembley Arena?”
Check out their rendition of the track, which sees both Davis and Corey Taylor switching off vocal takes, below.
The band have two final UK shows left on their current run, which sees them performing in Nottingham tonight, and Birmingham tomorrow.
