Smashing Pumpkins Unveil ‘Oceania’ Album Details
‘Oceania’ - the band’s ninth studio album - is set for release on the 19th June.

As already previously reported, Smashing Pumpkins are being a tad ambitious with their latest project, which just so happens to be a 44-track project entitled ‘Teargarden by Kaleidyscope’. However, the band have finally unveiled details of their forthcoming ninth album ‘Oceania’.
Made as part of the ‘Teargarden…’ project, ‘Oceania’ is a fourteen track effort that also happens to be the first album to be worked on by the band’s latest additions, drummer Mike Byrne, guitarist Jeff Schroeder and bassist Nicole Fiorentino,

The album is due for release on the 19th June, according to Rolling Stone.
The band’s manager, Peter Katsis, comments: ‘The Smashing Pumpkins created ‘Oceania’ as an album experience, and it is intended for the process of the release to follow a path of inclusion, so that best efforts are made for all the fans hear it at the same time as press or radio. We were excited to find partners in EMI that were equally passionate about the plan for the album release as well as being huge fans of the Pumpkins.’
At the end of last year, the band re-released their albums ‘Gish’ and ‘Siamese Dream’. They’re available in CD, deluxe CD & DVD, vinyl LP, and digital configurations.
