Soccer Mommy returns with “dark and evil” new single ‘lucy’

Soccer Mommy has returned with brand new single ‘lucy’, a song that sees her venturing into darker territory. It’s her first new material since last year’s much-acclaimed album ‘Clean’.

“‘lucy’ is a really fun song for me because it has a dark, evil vibe. It’s a song about struggling with inner demons and your own morality, but I masked it with this scenario of being seduced by the devil,” the musician explains.

“I’m really excited to share this with everyone because I think it shows a different side of my writing.”

The musician, aka Sophie Allison, is currently gearing up for huge shows in support of Vampire Weekend and then Wilco. More announcements regarding new music are promised shortly…
