Soccer Mommy shares video for ‘Scorpio Rising’

Soccer Mommy has released the video for ‘Scorpio Rising’.

Taken from her debut album ‘Clean’, the video sees Soccer Mommy’s Sophie Allison donning a white coat, wandering around a park and singing to an empty room whilst bathed in a white light.

“I wanted the video for ‘Scorpio Rising’ to be a bit celestial,” Allison explains. “The whole idea of laying out in a park in the middle of the summer while looking at the stars holds a significance to me, so I wanted to capture that feeling. I think there’s also a sense of isolation shown in the video that reflects both the song and the headspace I was in while writing ‘Clean’.”

Soccer Mommy’s debut album ‘Clean’, which was released this March, received a shiny four stars in our review, where we said: “In typical Soccer Mommy fashion, there’s little flashy footwork to be found here; only expertly-shaped understated songs that give more with every listen.”
