Solange beats Bon Iver to snag her first US Number 1
The surprise-released ‘A Seat At The Table’ took the top spot.
After a hotly-contested week for new releases, Solange has nabbed the US Number 1.
Her new album ‘A Seat At The Table’ was surprise-released in a packed week. Pipping Bon Iver’s ‘22, A Million’ to the top spot, it also came about in a week that saw new albums from Nicolas Jaar, Pixies, Banks and Danny Brown all steal headlines.
Over here in the UK, Bon Iver got another #2, missing out on the top spot to Craig David. Craig called his return to the number one spot “deja vu in the best way possible.” Bless ‘im.
