Sharing his debut single today, Manchester newbie sorebae has dropped sweet new song ‘lilmore’.
The first taste of more music set to come soon, the track is accompanied by a video recorded on his trust 1980s camera.
Sharing a lil Q&A to introduce himself, sorebae adds:
“Who is the Sorebae?
Sorebae is the guy who acts like he was the first person to enjoy Matisse, shows you his bookshelf and begs you to read J.D Salinger so you understand how he feels.
What do you do?
I write, I produce, I’m a fully qualified topiarist and an amateur barista.
I also spend a lot of time telling people that my next project is going to be the one that changes my career.
What’s next?
I’m currently working on a rock opera, it’s going to sound like if The Black Parade was produced by MGMT, released exclusively on CD at HMV. My biggest fear is boxing myself in, both artistically and literally. I’m actually incredibly claustrophobic. I’m always late to meetings because I can’t take elevators without screaming at the top of my lungs.”
