Sorority Noise have shared new track ‘Disappeared’
They’re also set to play at Slam Dunk Fest in May.
Ahead of the release of their brand new album ‘You’re Not As
____ As You Think’ on Friday, pop punk aficionados Sorority Noise have shared a
brand new track.
‘Disappeared’ is less than three minutes of fuzzy, bombastic
riffs and percussion, but underneath the powerhouse melodies there’s something
dark lurking underneath. Cameron Boucher sings about the hole that’s left
behind when somebody tragically takes their own life, and the toll that can
take on those left behind. However, he also focuses on rejuvenation after that
period of grief: “I let my hair down today, and I took a shower for the first
time in what felt like weeks”.
Sorority Noise will also be playing three dates at this year’s
Slam Dunk Fest. On 27th May they’ll be in Birmingham before heading off to
Leeds and Hertfordshire in the following days.
Listen to ‘Disappeared’ below.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
