Spector debut new single, ‘Bad Boyfriend’
Group fly towards all-out anthemia with their new track.
London group Spector have unveiled ‘Bad Boyfriend’, their instant pop fix of a new single.
Led by a starring role from Fred Macpherson, ‘Bad Boyfriend’ is probably the most Take That-sounding single Spector will ever write. It’s also one of their finest moments so far, placing quips on digital culture against gigantic choruses.
The new track links up with previous single ‘All The Sad Young Men’. It’s believed to be taken from a forthcoming LP.
‘Bad Boyfriend’ is released on 8th June. Spector will play a newly announced show at London’s the Dome on 11th June - tickets are on general sale from 9am, Friday 17th April (a fan pre-sale is available from 9am, Wednesday 15th April).
