St. Vincent talks working with Carrie Brownstein in new podcast
Annie Clark confirms she’s written a few songs with the Sleater-Kinney musician.

Marc Maron’s “WTF” podcast this week invited in Annie Clark aka St. Vincent for an extensive conversation about everything from her self-titled album to future material.
In a chat that covers her early obsession with David Bowie, living in New York, her previous experience being a tour manager, and lots more.
Towards the end of the conversation, they started talking about Sleater-Kinney’s Carrie Browstein and the reformation of the band. “She’s playing the most crazy outsider guitar,” she said, before claiming that the two might put out a 7” but that Brownstein is “preeeetty busy.”

This Christmas, Clark is set to host a pre-recorded show for BBC Radio 6 Music. She’s responsible for airing archive documentaries on Kate Bush’s ‘Hounds of Love’ and Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’. She’ll also play archive BBC sessions from Nick Cave, PJ Harvey and Stereolab, as well as choosing her track of 2014 and album of the day (from J Dilla).
