Actors back in work
St Vincent’s directed a horror film
The trailer for the forthcoming anthology ‘XX’ is out now, and features sneak-peeks of Annie Clark’s segment, ‘The Birthday Party’.

St Vincent’s been up to all sorts, lately. Y’know, designing electronic guitars, waitressing in a Mexican restaurant, scoring Kristen Stewart’s new film ‘Come Swim,’ and finishing her fifth album ready for release (!!!). The usual.
Now Annie Clark’s added yet another new thread to a busy schedule, and has made her directorial debut in the new horror anthology ‘XX’. St Vinny has co-written her segment ‘Birthday Party’ alongside Roxanne Benjamin (Southbound, VHS).
Karyn Kusama (Jennifer’s Body), Jennifer Lynch (Chained), and Jovanka Vuckovic (The Captured Bird) have also directed pieces for the all-female horror anthology, which dubs itself “four deadly tales by four killer women”.
Natalie Brown, Melanie Lynskey, Breeda Wool, and Christina Kirk all star in the anthology. ‘XX’ will be released in select theaters on February 17th.
Watch the trailer below - it includes sneaky snippets of St Vincent’s colourfully ominous segment.
