STONE unveil new video for ‘Left Right Forward’
“We loved the idea of playing off of the idea of a Rocky-style training montage,” the band said.
STONE have premiered the music video for their recent single ‘Left Right Forward’ - watch below.
Accompanying a track the Liverpudlians have described as “their most lighthearted one yet”, the video sees the band face off against a series of formidable rivals in the streets of Liverpool before coming to a head in an unorthodox face-off.
The band explained: “The ‘Left Right Forward’ video is for sure one of our favourite music videos we’ve ever done. The director Abigail Wilson was amazing to work with as well as the crew. We loved the idea of playing off of the idea of a Rocky-style training montage and subverting that with the whole arcade dance machine in such a fun way that didn’t take itself too seriously (much like the song itself). “The supporting actors Anthony and Joe put in such a great job and carried through so much personality and provided some of our favourite shots. This was such a fun shoot and we were very proud of how it turned out. Also a big shoutout to Gill and his beautiful BMW E30 which was a dream to drive and shoot in.”
