Sweet Baboo shares new ‘Home’ track ahead of tour with Pictish Trail
Stephen Black is currently at work on the follow-up to ‘Ships’.
Welsh gem Sweet Baboo’s output is getting more prolific by the second. Stephen Black is currently at work on a new album, the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Ships’, and a new track’s emerged from these sessions.
‘Home’ arrives ahead of a run of dates next month with the Pictish Trail. Two Moshi Moshi darlings are heading across the country until the end of January 2015, with dates scheduled in at London’s Southbank Centre, concluding at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections.
The new number is a woozy, romantic ode to creature comforts. A mantra of “I long to be at home” sleepily drifts by atop light organ notes, the very definition of homesickness. Grab it as a free download here.
