SZA has confirmed she’s working on an album with Tame Impala and Mark Ronson

A new LA Times interview also reveals that the singer is a big Modest Mouse fan.

SZA released her acclaimed new album ‘Ctrl’ earlier this year, and has revealed she’s already working on new material. Not only that, but she’s collaborating with some very special friends.

A new interview in the LA Times reveals that the singer is currently working on a new album with Tame Impala (’s Kevin Parker we assume) and Mark Ronson.

“People grapple with labeling me as hip-hop, R&B or pop, and it’s interesting to me. I’m just making music,” she says. “I listen to Stevie Nicks. I love classical jazz. I love folk. I love rap. I love Modest Mouse. I’m making an album with Tame Impala and Mark Ronson. When you try to label it, you remove the option for it to be limitless. It diminishes the music.”
