Tame Impala to headline All Points East 2020
They’ll be joined by Glass Animals, Caribou, Whitney and more.
Returning to East London’s Victoria Park for the third year, All Points East have just announced that Tame Impala will be taking to the stage in 2020!
Performing on 23rd May as a UK festival exclusive, Kevin Parker will be leading proceedings celebrating their highly-anticipated new album ‘The Slow Rush’, which is set to be released on Valentine’s Day.
Talking to New York Times earlier this year, he explained of the themes on the album: “A lot of the songs carry this idea of time passing, of seeing your life flash before your eyes, being able to see clearly your life from this point onwards. I’m being swept by this notion of time passing. There’s something really intoxicating about it.”
Tame Impala will also be joined on the day by Caribou, who returned in October with ‘Home’, the first track from Dan Snaith in five years, and Glass Animals, who recently shared new song ‘Tokyo Drifting’.
Whitney, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Kelly Lee Owens and Holy Fuck will also be performing, with tons more acts set to be announced very soon.
See ya there!
