The Drums Release New Single ‘Days’, Announce NME Awards Slot

The Drums have announced they will release a new single next month. ‘Days’ is the third single from second album ‘Portamento’, and will be released on 27th February.

Frontman Jonny Pierce explained a bit about the track:

“When I wrote and recorded it I thought it might be just another heartbreak song, but when I listened back to it I saw it was more than that. It was a reaction to years of trying to make things work one way and then having a breakthrough and realizing sometimes you have to start over completely from scratch to be at peace with yourself. “

The Drums will also tour the UK during Feb, including a headline slot at an NME Awards Show at the Roundhouse in London.
