The Duke Spirit Reveal New Album And UK Tour Details

The Duke Spirit are set to release their third studio album ‘Bruiser’ on 18th May 2011.

Liela Moss said of the new record, ‘We put the songs on a diet to make them sonically more articulate, left the white noise in the changing room and made sure every sound was tough, graceful and deftly placed to let the vocals soar and the guitar solos stand up.’
They’ve also announced a string of UK dates this spring:
1st April - London Brixton Academy (supporting Unkle)
1st May - Live At Leeds Festival
16th May - Nottingham Rescue Rooms
17th May - York Duchess
18th May - London The Dome
19th May - Northampton Roadmenders
21st May - Cambridge St Paul’s Church
22nd May - Lancaster Library
23rd May - Manchester Academy 3
25th May - Glasgow King Tuts
26th May - Newcastle The Cluny
27th May - Birmingham HMV Institute
31st May - Liverpool Mojo
1st June - Bristol Thekla
2nd June - Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms
3rd June - Brighton Audio

Tickets go on sale today through the band’s website to fans. General sale will commence on Monday 7th March 2011.
