The Great Escape continues today with Drenge, Django Django, Bully, DIY x Echochamp & more

Day two of the seaside fest continues - hear a playlist of today’s highlights.

Brighton’s The Great Escape festival continues today, and it’s a mix of big names and exciting new discoveries.

Following last night’s standout sets from Låpsley, LA Priest and Shamir, the fest continues with a couple of last minute, exciting additions topping the bill. Drenge confirmed themselves two days back - they’re playing a midnight slot at Patterns Downstairs. At the exact same time, The Vaccines will be taking to The Haunt.

Before the madness of that ultimate clash, head down to Komedia for this year’s Dutch Impact Party. Performances come from Tears & Marble, My Baby, Birth of Joy and KiT in a showcase of future Dutch success stories.

In the Alt Escape, we’re putting on a free showcase with Brighton collective Echochamp at Bleach. Music starts from 4pm and goes on ’til late, with The Magic Gang and Oscar closing out proceedings. Stage times are here, and you should check out our guide to the city’s unsung new bands, most of which are playing today’s all-dayer.

Other day two highlights arrive from Spring King, Nashville punks Bully, the bonkers Rat Boy, L.A. thrashers Ho99o9 and the one and only Tobias Jesso Jr.

Listen to a playlist of today’s highlights below our picks of things to see.
