The Horrors share roaring new album preview ‘More Than Life’
“The song is basically about the question of what matters to you.”

Cult favourites The Horrors have offered up ‘More Than Life’ - the latest single to be lifted from their upcoming sixth LP ‘Night Life’ (out on 21st March via Fiction Records), following recent previews ‘Lotus Eater’, ‘Trial By Fire’, and ‘The Silence That Remains’.
An uncompromising, anthemic new offering, ‘More Than Life’ has been described by the band as having “a different type of intensity to our recent singles - it’s more driving and direct.” Continuing, they have shared: “It was written in the middle of Canary Wharf, which looks more like Blade Runner everyday. It’s such a strange place to do anything creative as the surroundings feel particularly stark.
“We still needed a couple more songs for the album before going to LA to record at Yves [Rothman]’s studio, and we were in that insular part of the process where it feels like the outside world doesn’t exist. The song is basically about the question of what matters to you and by that point we were definitely clear on where we were heading.”
