The Japanese House, Dream Wife and more added to The Great Escape 2017
Slaves have also been confirmed for a very special Spotlight show on the pier, presented by yours truly.
100 acts have been added to the line-up for The Great Escape 2017.
The Japanese House and Dream Wife are set to head to Brighton in May, alongside Marika Hackman, The Magic Gang, Swimming Tapes, Homeshake, Pumarosa, Cosima, Will Joseph Cook and The Parrots.
Other names added to the bill include HMLTD, Dagny, Our Girl, Salen, Tsar B, Yowl, Husky Loops, Stevie Parker, Lowly, Noga Erez, and Off Bloom. They all join a growing line-up for the festival which already included BBC Sound Of winner Ray BLK, Cabbage and Nilufer Yanya.
A second of this year’s Spotlight shows has also been announced, with Slaves now confirmed to make a special live appearance at Brighton Palace Pier and fairground. What’s more is that’ll be part of DIY’s own action at the festival AND fans will be able to use the fairground as part of their ticket(!) Festival-goers will be able to apply for free tickets to the DIY Presents event while standalone tickets can also be purchased for £22.50.
The Great Escape takes place in Brighton between 18th-20th May. Full line-up information can be found on The Great Escape website. Tickets are on sale now.
DIY’s also an official media partner for this year’s event which means we’ll be bringing you all of the action before, during and after the festival - so keep your eyes peeled!
