The Jesus and Mary Chain, Young Fathers to play Portugal’s NOS Alive festival
July fest will also feature Jessie Ware and The Wombats, plus headliners MUSE.
Lisbon weekender NOS Alive (previously called Optimus Alive) has announced its first acts for 2015.
The Jesus and Mary Chain will be performing on 11th July, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their ‘Psychocandy’ classic.
They’ll be joined by fellow Scots and Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers, who play the opening night on 9th July.
Elsewhere, Jessie Ware, The Ting Tings, Dead Combo and The Wombats have all been confirmed.
The new acts join headliners MUSE, plus Alt-J, Metronomy and Kodaline.
NOS Alive takes place 9th-11th July 2015. Tickets are priced from £93.28 for a weekend pass.
