The Killers to headline massive British Summer Time gig at Hyde Park

Las Vegas’ favourite indie sons The Killers have been confirmed as the latest headliner for this year’s British Summer Time series at Hyde Park.

They’ll take to the stage on Saturday 8th July, and they’ve got a pretty weighty support bill confirmed for the event too.

Joining Brandon and co will be everyone’s favourite anthemic dads Elbow, plus 80s legends Tears For Fears (of ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’ fame) and angsty indie stalwarts White Lies.

What’s more, this will be the band’s only UK gig of the festival season, so if you want to wail along to Mr. Brightside (and frankly, who doesn’t) then get in line when tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday 27th January from the BST website.

Also confirmed for the summer series this year are headliners Green Day, Kings of Leon, Tom Petty, Phil Collins and Justin Bieber. You certainly can’t fault them for variety, eh?
