The Orwells go back to high school for their ‘North Ave.’ video

Chicago kids get gnarly in their home territory.

As the story goes, Chicago kids The Orwells quit high school to become a successful rock band. Each member filled in the customary paperwork, putting “I’m off to get famous” in the future career prospects section.

In the new video for ‘North Ave.’, we see Mario Cuomo and co. ditching rock ‘n roll for a day to return to their Chicago suburb. They hang out by basketball courts, Mario does his traditional creepy pouting routine, the guys smash houses and set off flares. To be honest, it’s probably for the citizens of Chicago’s good that The Orwells buggered off to become rock stars.

Tonight (5th June), The Orwells headline London Dingwalls.
