The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart announce new ‘Hell’ EP
The release is being lead by a cover of ‘Laid’, originally by James.
New York indie troupe The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart have announced a new EP, entitled simply ‘Hell’.
Leading the three-track release is a beefy cover of James’ ‘Laid’, which you can stream below - it features vocals from A Sunny Day In Glasgow’s Jen Goma. The rest of the release features another cover, of ‘Felt”s ‘Ballad Of The Band’, and an original titled ‘Hell’ which was released in demo form earlier this year.
The band’s first release since last year’s ‘Days Of Abandon’ LP, the ‘Hell’ EP is released on November 13th via Pains’ own label, Painbow. Stream the James cover below while you revisit DIY’s interview with band from last summer.
