The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart Complete Work On Third Album
Shoegaze-nodders are finishing off their third LP with producer Andy Savours.

Dreamy shoegaze hasn’t exactly been in short supply over the past 12 months, but it’s been missing that certain something: The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.
Don’t fear. New material is on the way, with the band confirming that they’re just putting the finishing touches to as-yet-untitled LP3, the follow up to 2011’s ‘Belong’.
The band have been in London mastering the release with Andy Savours, a producer responsible for recent records from Sigur Rós and The Killers.
One very short Instagram video showed the band ‘hard at work’ in the studio, declaring the end of their reverb days and calling 2013 the year of ‘rain sticks & shells.’
More recently, the group shared a video for long-lost song ‘Belong’, two years after it was released. Watch below:
