The Prodigy top Official Album Chart with ‘The Day Is My Enemy’

The Prodigy have scored their sixth UK Number One with ‘The Day Is My Enemy’, which went straight in to the top of the Official Albums Chart.

Their first LP since 2009, it displaced last week’s chart-topper James Bay, who fell to #2 with ‘Chaos And The Calm’.

Sufjan Stevens scored his first ever top 10 album with ‘Carrie & Lowell’, which entered at #6. Liverpudlians Circa Waves’ ‘Young Chasers’ debut entered at #10, with Sam Smith (#3 with ‘In The Lonely Hour’), Ed Sheeran (#4 with ‘X’) and Sia (#5 with ‘1000 Forms Of Fear’) rounding off the top 5.

In the Official Singles Chart, Jess Glynne enjoyed a second week at the top with ‘Hold My Hand’, pipping Ed Sheeran’s ‘Bloodstream’ to the #1 spot.
