The Strokes to headline London Hyde Park with Beck and Future Islands
Band’s first London show in five years takes place this June, with Temples, The Wytches, Hinds and Gengahr also on the bill.
The Strokes have announced plans to play their first London show in five years.
They’ll play Hyde Park on 18th June, with support from Beck and Future Islands. Repeat: The Strokes, Beck and Future Islands, all on the same bill. Blimey.
They’ll also be joined by Temples, Public Service Broadcasting, The Wytches, Hinds, Gengahr, Yak and Kieran Leonard.
Over the weekend, the show was previewed when the New York group posted an aerial shot of London at night, promising “imminent news”.
From tomorrow (Tuesday 3rd March) at 9AM, an allotment of tickets will be available for presale. General sale then begins via AXS.
Tickets with no booking fees will be available from Dice here.
The Strokes are also playing Barcelona’s Primavera Sound (30th May) and Atlanta, Georgia’s Shaky Knees Festival (8th-10th May).
