The Strokes share barmy new video for ‘Threat of Joy’
From missing film reels to pig mobsters, there’s a lot of weird stuff to take in.

The Strokes have shared a video for ‘Threat of Joy’ - a track on their recent ‘Future Present Past’ EP. To briefly summarise goings-on, it’s a little bit barmy.
The video starts with a vague apology for not being able to put out a video for ‘Oblivius’ “due to circumstances we are not at liberty to discuss,” before plunging into a shady world of pig-headed mobsters, neon life mantras, and stolen film reels. Things only get weirder from there.
The Strokes put out ‘Future Present Past’ last month, their first release since 2013’s ‘Comedown Machine’.
