The White Stripes’ ‘Elephant’ Gets RSD Re-Issue
The record will be available on limited quantities of red and black, and white vinyl.

ust weeks after being announced as this year’s Record Store Day ambassador, Jack White has announced details of one of Third Man’s participating releases.
As reported on the Third Man website, The White Stripes’ seminal 2003 album, which celebrates its ten year anniversary this year, is to be re-issued.
It will be available as limited edition gatefold double 12’ - one half black and red, and the other white - as well as on regular black vinyl later in the year.
It is also, the story quotes, ‘mastered direct from the original analog source’: the original ‘Elephant’ liner notes state that no computers were used in the making of the record.
Record Store Day is on 20th April this year.
