The Wytches announce tour, share video for ‘Bone Weary’

The dates also seem to have inadvertently announced the second Flying Vinyl Festival

Brighton noise-mongerers The Wytches have announced a string of intimate UK dates for Spring, kicking off with a short run at the end of this month before touring the country in April.

Within the announcement, the band also revealed that their London date would be as part of Flying Vinyl Festival on April 8th - thereby seemingly announcing the event. Somebody might be getting fired, but after last year’s inaugural bash with Swim Deep, Black Honey et al, let’s expect big things from this one.

The Wytches have also gifted us with a new vid for ‘Bone Weary’ - taken from recent, very good album ‘All Your Happy Life’. Shot in grainy black and white and featuring offcuts from the last four years of video shoots, it’s part behind-the-scenes gig, part Blair Witch Project. Or should that be Blair Wytch Project?

The Wytches will play:

FEB
27 Polar Bear, Hull
28 The Crescent, York

MAR
01 The Cookie, Leicester
03 Outlines Festival, Sheffield
04 Café Independent, Scunthorpe

APR
03 Boileroom, Guildford
04 Waterfront Studio, Norwich
05 The Horn, St Albans
06 Face Bar, Reading
07 Sound Control, Manchester
08 Flying Vinyl Festival, London
09 Wells Forum, Tunbridge
19 Portland Arms, Cambridge
20 The Ferret, Preston
21 The Georgian Theatre, Stockton On Tees
22 Wrong Festival, Liverpool
23 Joiners, Southampton
24 Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff
