The Xcerts hit the road in the video for ‘Daydream’
They kick off their UK tour tonight!

Last week, The Xcerts announced that they’d be releasing their new album ‘Hold On To Your Heart’ on 19th January (yay!) and tonight they’re kicking off a run of UK dates (double yay!)
To celebrate hitting the road, the band have shared a new video for their recently-revealed tune ‘Daydream’. Pretty aptly, it sees them hitting the road and having a lot of fun driving. And running too. By the end, they make it to one of their energetic shows. Gets you in the mood for that tour…
Speaking of the track itself, Front man Murray Macleod said: “We were lucky enough to work with Chris Maguire at RIOT.NYC again who also made the video for Feels Like Falling In Love. He makes the whole process so comfortable and fun and we had an absolute blast making the Daydream video. We wanted it to feel pretty frantic as if you are watching a lucid dream come to life.
“We were really inspired by the movie Spun, only there was no crystal meth involved, just good vibes and a couple of our best friends. Funnily enough, the performance sequence was shot at the Haunt in Brighton where we are kicking off the UK tour. Thankfully i won’t dripping in sweat before reaching the stage this time round! We are so incredibly excited to kick off the tour tonight in Brighton. We are debuting some new songs and we are going to give it all we’ve got. In our eyes, this is the start of the Hold On To Your Heart touring cycle and we are gonna do it right!!”
As mentioned, The Xcerts are about to embark on an extensive UK tour, kicking off in Brighton and rounding off at a show at London’s Scala next month. Tickets are on sale now.
