News Thurston Moore Announces New Solo Album
‘Demolished Thoughts’ will be released in May.
Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore has announced details of a new solo album: 'Demolished Thoughts' will be released on 23rd May via Matador Records.
The LP is his fourth solo effort, or fifth if you count 1998′s 'multimedia project' ‘Root’, and the first to be produced by Beck Hansen.
He recorded the featured material in Los Angeles and Northampton, MA during the latter part of 2010.
Joining him on the record are: violinist Samara Lubelski, harpist Mary Lattimore, bassist Bram Inscore, drummer Joey Waronker and Beck.
