Thurston Moore announces UK and European tour

Shortly after unveiling the return of his project Caught On Tape, the improvised live recordings of himself and drummer John Maloney, Thurston Moore has scheduled a return to the UK and Europe with his ‘Thurston Moore Band’ for an eleven-date tour.

The former Sonic Youth man released his fourth solo album ‘The Best Day’ in 2014, before heading over to the UK back in November. The guitarist has now planned four smaller dates in the UK, beginning in London, heading to Exeter, Birmingham and Newcastle before a date at the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire.

The band, made up of Moore, My Bloody Valentine bassist Debbie Googe, former Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley and Nought’s James Sedwards, will then travel across eastern and central Europe, taking in dates in Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary and Austria.
