Thurston Moore revives Caught On Tape, unveils ‘Full Bleed’
Moore and drummer John Maloney prepare new collaborative LP.

Former Sonic Youth and Chelsea Light Moving frontman Thurston Moore never disappears for too long. Following the release of his fourth solo record, ‘The Best Day’, in 2014, Moore has announced the return of Caught On Tape, his live-recorded project with drummer Chelsea Light Moving band-mate John Maloney.
The duo will release their new LP, ‘Full Bleed’ on 3rd February, with the title-track unveiled online this week.
Together the pair have increasingly divulged in an improvised format, already creating three LPs of squalling, unruly noise-rock that’s reminiscent of Moore’s early work. The first taste of the new record is no different, a cataclysmic collision of Moore’s jarring guitar and Maloney’s unregulated attack on the rhythm.
