Tickets for first ever Lollapalooza Berlin are on sale now

US-based festival is expanding to Europe in 2015.

Tickets have gone on sale for the first ever Lollapalooza Berlin, taking place 12th-13th September 2015.

Originally from Chicago, Lollapalooza now hosts festivals in South America (Chile, Brazil and Argentina), with this German fest being their first ever crack at Europe.

The festival takes place at Tempelhof Airport (a disused hub for flights for the past six years).

Founder of Lollapalooza, Perry Farrell, says: “Berlin’s energy, vibrant art, fashion and music scenes are a mirror reflection of what Lollapalooza is all about and I can’t wait to share in this cultural exchange.”

Early bird tickets are priced at 99 Euros, on sale now.

The first wave of acts is set to be announced in the coming weeks.
