Tigers Jaw enter a virtual world in their ‘Escape Plan’ video
The Philly duo look at the good and bad side of VR technology.
Philly duo Tigers Jaw have just rounded off a tour of the UK and are set to hit Reading & Leeds this weekend, but they’ve just had enough time to squeeze in a new video for their single ‘Escape Plan’ to their busy schedule, the latest from their album ‘spin’.
Co-directed by Foxing member Josh Coll and John Komar, it takes a look at virtual reality and how it could change our lives – whether that’s for better or for worse. In it, an old man gets to experience some happier memories while on his deathbed, while his family remain wired in during dinner, their car journey and even as they come to visit. It’s tender and emotional, but still encourages the viewer to make their own mind up about the potential impact of entering a virtual world.
Watch the video for ‘Escape Plan’ below.
