, we’re off down The Social tonight, and in anticipation, we figured we’d grab a quick word with the headliners.

To Kill A King will be performing at the rather intimate setting on Little Portland Street later tonight, and they told us just why they’re looking forward to the show.

‘We had our single launch for ‘Fiction State’ with Communion at The Social way back when. It is a lovely intimate venue, I’d imagine it will be loud and sweaty in there.’

To Kill A King will be headlining this evening’s DIY & Merc Clothing show at The Social. Ticket winners will have now been contacted. Doors are at 7pm.

In other news from the band’s camp, will follow the release of their new EP ‘Word of Mouth’ (due 23rd July) with a UK headline tour.

They’ll kick off the run after a few festival appearances - including Bestival, Wilderness and Kendal Calling - starting at Middlesbrough’s Westgarth Social Club on 20th October.

The tour also includes dates in Leeds, London, Birmingham and Manchester, amongst others.
