Tobias Jesso Jr. confirms debut ‘Goon’ album

LA-residing Canadian Tobias Jesso Jr. has confirmed the full details of his previously announced debut album, ‘Goon’.

With Girls’ Chet ‘JR’ White, Patrick Carney from the Black Keys and Ariel Rechshaid on production duties, the debut is out 17th March via True Panther Sounds.

The record contains ‘Just A Dream’, ‘Without You’ and recently unveiled single ‘Hollywood’, which is streaming below.

In a statement to fans, Tobias says of the record:

“I owe the sound of the record to the great effort of everyone involved, the producers and musicians doing and playing things I couldn’t and treating the production with the same reverence I treat my songwriting.

The writing will always be the most important to me; the production, playing and singing I am still figuring out. I still play a bit of guitar, but I’m mostly sticking to the piano these days.”
