Tonight’s Blink 182 Brixton Academy Show Cancelled

Tonight was due to be the trio’s final performance on their UK and European tour.

Blink 182 were set to headline Brixton’s O2 Academy this evening (26th July) but the show has now been cancelled.

The announcement comes after Mark Hoppus was taken ill and diagnosed with bronchitis, laryngitis and sinusitis, following yesterday evening’s performance at venue.

The news has been confirmed on Brixton O2 Academy’s website.

The statement reads: ‘It is with regret that tonight’s Blink 182 show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton has been cancelled. Unfortunately Mark Hoppus was taken ill at the end of last night’s show and has been diagnosed with bronchitis, laryngitis and sinusitis.

This is the last thing the band want to do but on doctors advice today it has been highly advised that Mark cannot perform and the show can’t go ahead.

Regrettably a rescheduled date cannot not be arranged and customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for a refund.’
