Festivals: Tori Amos joins Primavera line-up as Eels drop out

The singer-songwriter joins Saturday’s performers in May.
Primavera Festival have confirmed that Tori Amos has been added to this year’s lineup, with Eels dropping out. The reason for ‘E’ and his band’s cancellation is unknown.
Tori Amos joins the roster on Saturday 30th May, with The Strokes performing as headliners on the final day. Tori Amos’ last studio album was ‘Unrepentant Geraldines’, released on Mercury in May 2014.
Alongside The Strokes, Ride and The Black Keys make up this year’s festival headliners. They will be joined by Sleater-Kinney, Interpol, James Blake, and Brand New. Primavera takes place at Barcelona’s Parc Del Forum between 28-30th May. The full line-up alongside the announcement video from last week can be found here.
